Sarah May is a biracial Latina, artist, curator, and storyteller based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2013 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Digital Imaging. Sarah creates work exploring the intricacy of narrative through imagery and text in reflecting on the collective human experience using cyanotype, film photography, and her own writing. Sarah has curated over 6 fine art exhibitions with herself and other artists since 2013.

She completed an artist residency at the Gullkistan Residency for Creative People Summer and Fall of 2015 in Laugarvatn Iceland. Her photo art books “Stykki” and "Glances" were accepted into the 2016 Photo Independent Art Fair and Exhibition in Hollywood, California. Sarah is currently a graduate student at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, in the Masters of Art in Community Leadership, Arts & Cultural Emphasis.
